⏳History

🔴 Welcome to Hutton Football Club! Hutton Football Club is one of Essex’s leading community football clubs, rooted in tradition and driven by progress. Founded in 1928, the club has grown into a vibrant hub for grassroots football, offering opportunities for players of all ages and abilities — from first kicks to senior squads.

As a proud asset to the Borough of Brentwood, Hutton FC plays a vital role in promoting health, discipline, and lifelong friendships through the beautiful game. We believe football should be inclusive, inspiring, and accessible to all.

In 2005, Hutton FC expanded further through its merger with Hutton Medway YFC (established in 1969), strengthening our youth development and widening our community impact.

Today, we are proud to field over 60 teams — boys and girls, men and women — from the youngest age groups right up to adult competitive leagues.

We are honoured to hold the prestigious FA Charter Standard Community Club status — the highest level of accreditation awarded by The FA, recognising our commitment to high-quality coaching, child welfare & safeguarding, club development & governance and inclusivity across all age groups

Whether you’re a player, parent, coach, or supporter — Hutton FC is your football home.

🏅 FA Charter Standard

Setting the Benchmark for Excellence in Youth Football

At Hutton Football Club, we’re proud to be recognised at the highest level of the FA Charter Standard — the FA Charter Standard Community Club. This prestigious accreditation reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, and inclusive football for young players of all abilities.

🎯 What is the FA Charter Standard?

Launched by The Football Association, the FA Charter Standard programme sets the gold standard for grassroots football clubs across England. It ensures clubs uphold excellence in:

  • Coaching and player development
  • Club management and administration
  • Safeguarding and child protection
  • Equality and community engagement

The Charter consists of three tiers:

  1. Charter Standard Club
  2. Charter Standard Development Club
  3. Charter Standard Community Club ✅ (That’s us!)

We are proud to be one of the few clubs in Essex to reach the Community Club level — the highest level available.

👧👦 Why It Matters

Achieving this status means every child at Hutton FC benefits from:

✅ FA-qualified coaches
✅ A safe and inclusive environment
✅ Strong safeguarding practices
✅ A focus on long-term player development
