We support The FA’s Respect Programme 🙌 and expect all members — players, managers, coaches, club officials, parents, carers, and spectators — to uphold high standards on and off the field.

1️⃣ Club-Wide Code of Conduct 📜

✅ Show respect to everyone in the game — match officials, opposition, coaches, managers, and spectators.
✅ Adhere to the laws & spirit of the game.
🚫 Don’t enter the pitch without the referee’s say-so.
🚫 No offensive, insulting, or abusive language — in person or online.
✅ Support fair play and encourage respect towards referees & opponents.
🚫 Avoid misconduct charges and excessive disciplinary points.

2️⃣ Additional Codes by Role 🎯

👔 Managers, Coaches & Club Officials

  • Lead by example and inspire players.
  • Put well-being and enjoyment before winning.
  • Prevent bullying 🚫 and promote inclusivity.
  • Ensure activities are age-appropriate and safe.
  • Work with officials, medical staff, and welfare officers for player benefit.

🙋‍♂️ Spectators & Parents/Carers

  • Remember: kids play for fun 🎈.
  • Applaud effort, good play, and success 👏.
  • Let coaches coach — avoid sideline instructions.
  • Never criticise players for mistakes — they’re part of learning.
  • Always respect referees and opponents.

3️⃣ Kit Policy 👕

At Hutton FC, our kit is part of our identity and unity.

🎨 Official Colours

  • Home Kit: Macron ⚪🔴 Hutton Red & White (strictly enforced)
  • Away Kit: Macron 🔵⚪ Navy or White
  • Only kit options in the Club Shop are permitted.
  • Choice of Men’s 1st Team Technical Shirt or the affordable Club Kit.

💰 Purchasing Rules

  • Kits can be bought via a sponsor or parent purchase.
  • Plan for at least two seasons of use.
  • Sponsorship for away kits is optional — shirts alone may be purchased.
  • Only ProKit can supply kit with the official Hutton badge.

🚫 Restrictions

  • No player names for anyone under 18 (child protection policy).
  • Initials or squad numbers for bench wear.
  • No unofficial kit badged or printed — ProKit will refuse it.

🕒 Ordering Timeline

  • Allow 3 weeks for full team orders (especially pre-season).
  • Payment due on order, not collection.

4️⃣ Disciplinary Policy & Procedure ⚖️

  • Investigation First — facts are established before action.
  • Written Notification — you’ll be told the complaint and given the chance to respond.
  • Right to Representation — you can bring a representative or friend; juniors must have a parent/guardian.
  • Possible Suspension during investigation if in the club’s best interest.

🚦 Possible Sanctions:

  • Verbal warning
  • Meeting with officials
  • FA education course
  • Removal from match venue/future games
  • Suspension or membership removal
  • Required to leave with dependents
  • The FA/County FA may also issue fines or suspensions.

5️⃣ Qualifications for Roles 🎓

All coaching & welfare roles require FA-approved qualifications — Hutton FC will fund these.

🔍 Check your FA Learning Account regularly to ensure nothing expires — an expired qualification can suspend your team.

  • DBS Check (Mandatory)
  • Safeguarding for Children (Mandatory)
  • First Aid in Football (Mandatory)
  • Intro to Coaching Football (Mandatory)
  • Welfare Officer Course (Welfare Officers only)

Open-Age Football 👨‍🦳⚽

  • DBS Check (Mandatory)
  • Player Welfare Course (Mandatory)
  • Safeguarding Adults (Mandatory for welfare roles)
  • First Aid Course (Mandatory for managers/coaches)
